Korbit, a Korean cryptocurrency exchange, announced the relisting of Paycoin, a cryptocurrency previously removed from major South Korean exchanges. Paycoin’s return follows its removal due to regulatory issues last year. Korbit will allow trading of Paycoin starting from 0:00 a.m. on the 15th, with users able to transfer their coins from global exchanges and deposit them from 8 p.m. on Thursday. Korbit cites demand from over 3 million domestic Paycoin holders as the reason for relisting. Despite being unable to provide payment services domestically, Paycoin remains competitive globally, with plans to expand its payment services to cryptocurrency-friendly countries like Singapore and Dubai.
