Global blockchain mainnet XPLA announced the introduction of the Model Context Protocol (MCP), designed to connect artificial intelligence (AI) with blockchain. MCP is an open protocol that enables AI models to interact with external data sources and tools in a standardized way, allowing real-time access to blockchain data.
Through MCP, XPLA aims to improve user accessibility and lower barriers to Web3 adoption. The protocol is already available on AI clients such as Claude and developer tool Cursor, enabling even non-developers to explore blockchain data and create content using natural language.
The XPLA team stated that this integration will help build an ecosystem where anyone can easily utilize blockchain with AI. XPLA currently operates as a Layer-1 mainnet with participation from global companies like Google Cloud, Animoca Brands, and LayerZero.
