Ohoon Kwon

Ohoon Kwon is the Managing Partner of Cha & Kwon Law Offices in Seoul, specializing in Korean virtual asset regulation, blockchain law, and cross-border fintech compliance. He holds a doctorate from Konkuk University Law School with a dissertation on virtual asset issuance regulation, and served as a researcher on the Basic Act on Blockchain commissioned by MSIT and KISA. A recipient of the KISA Director General's Individual Merit Award, he formerly served as Vice Chair of the Korean Bar Association's IT & Blockchain Special Committee. He advises Korean and international clients on VASP licensing, token issuance, CARF compliance, and virtual asset dispute resolution.
